True Colour Beauty was founded by Carrie, a Texas-born cosmetologist with more than 30 years in the beauty industry. Thoughtful formulas, every ingredient listed, and shades for every skin tone.
Meet the founder
Thirty years behind the chair, one big change of heart.
Carrie is a Texas-born cosmetologist with more than 30 years in the beauty industry. She grew up with her mother's love of plants and natural living, and has always believed that what you put on your body matters as much as how it makes you feel.
Everything changed with Bon Bon, her Umbrella Cockatoo. Bon Bon came to Carrie with heart disease after years of poor care, and giving him the healthiest life possible meant rethinking everything around them, including what Carrie put on her own skin.
At 53, she realized the changes she was making for Bon Bon were changes she needed too. After three decades in beauty she wasn't going to stop. She was going to do it better. True Colour Beauty is the result.
I couldn't just stop. I needed better.
