Night Routine for Dry and Dehydrated Skin

Dry skin lacks oil; dehydrated skin lacks water. Many people have both, especially in colder months. The fix is the same: cleanse gently, layer hydration, then seal it in with richer textures at night.

The routine

Step 1: Remove makeup gently

Use BiPhasic Make-up Remover on a cotton pad. Its oil layer lifts makeup without harsh rubbing.

Step 2: Cleanse without stripping

Wash with Aloe Refresh Facial Wash in lukewarm water. If your skin feels tight afterwards, your cleanser or water is too harsh.

Step 3: Hydrating toner

Pat pH Balance Hydrating Toner into damp skin with your hands. Applying to damp skin helps hydration layer better.

Step 4: Layer a hydrating serum

Press in Hydrating Serum or Youthful Hydration Serum. Both feature hyaluronic acid, which helps skin hold on to moisture. For extra bounce, add Double Hydration Boost Gel.

Step 5: Eye cream

Tap on Calming Eye Cream or Smoothing Eye Cream.

Step 6: Rich night cream

Seal everything in with Ceramide Night Cream or Nourishing Rich Cream. Ceramides support your skin's natural moisture barrier.

Step 7: Press in facial oil

Warm two or three drops of Nourishing Facial Oil between your palms and press over your cream. This is especially comforting on very dry or windburnt days.

Quick questions

How do I know if my skin is dry or dehydrated?

Dry skin feels rough and flaky most of the time. Dehydrated skin can even be oily but feels tight and looks dull. Many people have both.

Is facial oil enough on its own?

Oil helps seal in moisture, but it works best over water-based hydration like toner and serum.
